ROYALS AND CANON INFORMATION
Fragmentation has several canons that are an anchoring element and that can play an influential role in the site. The canons' activity is key in the site moving forward and if a canon grows inactive or is not showing enough progress into their role, the current canon holder may lose their position so activity must be their highest priority!
You can have two canon positions at a time. But, if you have a Royal canon, you cannot have a Geheimnis canon. If you have a Lady/Lord of Zion, you cannot have a Lady/Lord of Hades but you may have the Patron of Judgement canon. This is to keep the balance of information and the potential fun higher than one person knowing what's going to happen on both sides of the Royals and the Geheimnis at any given time.
Right now, our canons are held to a basis of one post every ten days. That means that if you have a canon, you need to make at least one full post (no 'work in progress' posts allowed) every ten days. If it is noted that you are consecutively only doing one post every ten days, without justifiable cause, you may be asked to post more often or you may be asked to consider dropping the position. There is a check-in system that will be used in order for your activity to be tracked. It is up to you to keep this updated as it is your canon position and it is not the staff's job to check up on your activity for you. These check-in areas will be a locked thread in the canon's respective land/board. These rules are harder to follow for a reason; we want active and dedicated canon holders!
The main purpose of the Royals is to promote peace and to solve disputes, conflicts, etc, by whatever means necessary. They can accept or decline land claims if they think the claiming character is a good fit or not for owning a land. They can also take lands away from characters (this must be cleared with a staff member first). The Royals create the laws and define the punishments for those who violate those laws.
AUDITION RULES
- These auditions are for the positions of Royal King and Royal Queen only.
- Must be at least 300 words. Remember, quality is being judged much harder than quantity here. I would rather see a 300 word post that is phenomenally written rather than a rambling, disorganized 1500 word post!
- No incomplete/work in progress posts allowed; must be posted as your final audition.
- Use the form provided.
- When you list the ideas for activity you have for the position, please don't write out the duties of a Royal and say that's your idea. Come up with something creative and something that will get the ball rolling with the canon activity!
