- Battles can be over lands, mares, foals, and even stallions. Any gender can fight for any gender.
- Foals (up to the age of 2) cannot battle.
- Mares can fight stallions, and stallions can fight mares.
- Terms will have to be agreed upon by both parties. If both parties cannot come to an arrangement, there will be no battle/challenge. Now don't go thinking this is a loophole, there MUST be a good reason to why you cannot come to terms.
- Standard battle terms are 3 hits and 2 misses. This means that you can have three attacks that land and two chances to dodge an attack. You are still free to create your own battle terms like 4 hits and 1 miss but both parties must agree!
- The standard word minimum for battles is a 300 word minimum with no word maximum. Again, you can also change this if both parties can agree to it.
- The standard time period to have between posts is three days but again, you can change this if both parties agree. This means for every reply, there can be up to three days between them.
- Three members will judge the battle using the required form. The judging will be done anonymously by the three staff members. There will be a person who is deemed to be the 'score keeper' and they will be PMed the scores from the three anonymous judges. The score keeper will count the scores between the parties. Then the results will be posted in the battle thread. If you wish to have it judged a second time, you must provide at least two solid reasons that you think it was judged incorrectly. If it is judged a second time, the individuals that judged it the first time cannot judge it again. It is up to the score keeper that judged it the first time to find three new judges for the second round of judging. The outcome of the second judging is final and it cannot be appealed again.
- Each of the two participants MUST fill out the stats form you can find in this board.
- If a land or herd member is challenged, it has one month (30 days from the date it was challenged) rest period afterward for that herd.
- TIP: Review the battle judging form before starting. Make sure you're aware of the areas that will be judged.
- Allies can fight for allies - that's the point of having an ally - in any case EXCEPT for land challenges. That MUST be either the king or queen.
