Winter had not been kind to the land. Then again, it never was. The winters could be quite harsh in these parts, brutal. Ruthless. How he knew that considering he had never seen this place in his life he didn't know. But the cold never bothered him. He was built like a draft and made for the brutality of winter. He didn't mind the snow currently swirling around him, the wind trying to bite into his flesh, but his thick bay pelt protected him from the elements with ease. He was cold, yes, but not terribly so. And he walked. And he walked. He didn't know where he was going, or if he really had anywhere to be, he just knew he was here for a reason, whatever that reason may be, he didn't know, but he wasn't going to question it. He simply followed the pull toward these new lands. Curious but calm, letting the fingers of a wintery Mother Nature drag down his spin, large snowflake dancing across his vision, but his blood red eyes stayed focused on an unseeable point straight ahead. He didn't know what he was looking at, what he was looking for, but he walked, his pace steady, his breathing even. He had... he had no memories. Nothing. But he didn't find that weird. He didn't know who his parents were, where he had been before coming here, but he knew this place was where was supposed to be, where he was needed. But who needed him? What was this force tugging him onward, onward, onward... The call of the wild, he joked silently to himself, blinking slowly and taking a deep inhale of the bitter air. The cold burnt his lungs with each inhale, making him shudder, but he didn't mind the pain because the second it was there, it was gone, and he was unharmed. He briefly wondered if that was significant, since he had nothing to compare it to. As far as he knew, he had never met another equine. Ah, yes. That's what he was. A horse. Some type of horse. "Rajier." The word slipped from his lips, rolling from his tongue in a faint accent, and he nearly startled himself. His voice. That his was voice. And that's what he was. A Rajier. But what was his name? Titan. He knew it. He was Titan and he was a Rajier and this was going to be his home. He wasn't sure how he knew these things but that didn't frighten him. He had no reason to be frightened. He was perfectly safe here, for the moment. He was unknown. Not true. Someone knew of him. Someone had... created him? That was something he didn't know. But he felt no need to question it. He was alive, that was all that mattered, and he found himself nodding in agreement with himself. Yes, he was Titan, ad Rajier, and this was his home. ORIGINAL She had not been in the mountains before, but for some reason this day, something seemed to be calling her into the upper reaches of the lands. Her sky blue pools were focused ahead of herself, her three snow dipped and her one snow banded pillars carried her fiery, sixteen point three hand frame onward and upward. Thankful for the fact that she was of draft build, and so, thicker coated, thicker framed, with a short but thick mane and tail, and slight feathers on her pillars, she wasn't too worried about the fact that she was being drawn up into the mountains. She had set an easy pace, there was no rush, just a constant tug and so she would get there when she got to...wherever...it was that she was going. As she walked along, she felt the warmth of the sun wrap around her fiery pelt, and it drew a smile upon her velvets, and it was enjoyable, despite the fact that it was cold. She didn't know what she'd find once the tug had pulled her to the end of its journey, but maybe, there was something or someone there that would need her help and because she was such a caring, kind, protective soul, she would put their needs all ahead of her own. She also had time to think as she wandered about all that had transpired up until she had been struck with realization of who and what she was. There were no parents she knew of but she knew someone had to have been there to create her...right? Someone or someones had created her and they had bestowed her with a keen ability to heal any ailments of any others that would come to her and ask for it. Although that perk too, had its downfalls. If she tried to doo too much healing at once it nearly took her out too. She'd nearly killed herself when she'd realized she was a healer, had put herself out of commission for nearly a month, but luckily she had been able to get herself back on her feet again. She felt the subtle shift of the ground as she reached the top of the rise and then, the sound of running water captured her attention and it drew her to a halt. It was a lovely sight. The river was beautiful and the ground, though covered in snow and ice, was dazzling and the reflection caused Micah to blink to dispel most of the light spots that had collected. Smiling, Micah let her sky blue pools travel to the far horizon and the frosty mountains and then she shook the slight bit of collected snow from her fiery pelt, Micah started forward into the snow blanketed terrain. As her pillars moved her forward, her sky blue pools drifted about the blank terrain and then in the distance she spied something that forced her to halt abruptly again. A mahogany spot in the otherwise emptiness that was the foothills of the Mozier Mountains. She had not seen another in a rather long time. Moving forth again, she paced carefully over the terrain toward the other the tug lessening the closer she got to the spot. Then when she was a little ways off she sent a gentle whinny toward the other and halted. "Hello Stranger. My name's Micah. What of your tag...if I may be so bold sir?" Micah asked gently and then fell silent, her towers pointed to the mahogany hunter, a soft, warm, gentle smile on her velvets and her sky blue pools just as soft, warm and gentle as the smile. The tugging on his heart and soul was getting harder, more insistent, and he had no idea why since he had no connection with these lands, at least to his knowledge, but he did not question it. Instead, he gave himself a little shake before pushing off of his thick, powerful hind limbs, propelling his seventeen-point-two hand mass forward at a smooth lobe, daggers digging into the soft snow beneath him. There was thankfully no ice though Titan had a feeling that it would take much more than a trip to seriously harm him. Healing. The voice - a thought? - was very soft within his skull but he didn't know what it meant. Could he heal himself, then? Heal others? Yes. The voice was like a guide. Or perhaps it was just old memories trying to come to the surface. Whatever it was, Titan smiled as he moved, snowflakes swirling around his solid bay bodice.
All at once, many things happened. There was a sharp tugging sensation in his chest and his head turned quickly to look in the direction of the call of a female. With no hesitation, Titan called back, pushing himself faster, his heart fluttering in his chest out of excitement. The tugging had stopped and he knew, he knew, this was it, this was who he was being led to. This was one of the reasons why he was here. This mare, currently unknown to him, was going to be a part of his future. They halted at the same time, him breathing a little harshly from his faster pace but with a wide grin spread across his face. He dipped his head, short tail twitching as he observed her, eyes roaming her bodice not in a sexual way but simply out of curiosity. She is like me, he thought, his smile growing. Good to know he wasn't the last of his kind. Perhaps... we are the first, then?
"Hello Stranger. My name's Micah. What of your tag...if I may be so bold sir?" He chuckled softly when she called him a stranger because it did not feel as if they were strangers. He felt connected to her in a way and he had still not yet introduced himself. He had to change that. "Please, call me Titan," he said, his voice smooth and soothing, "And it feels as if we are not strangers. I believe I have been lead to you though I do not know the reason why. Do you happen to know what this place is called, Micah?"

As his dark red pools roamed her fiery frame, Micah smiled as she let her own sky blue pools roam his and then she took a deep breath of the cold mountain air and breathed in the scent of the bay hunter. The tug was gone but she knew that they'd been brought together for some reason, if she didn't quite know what that was. Her towers switched as she watched his velvets curl into a smile and her own velvets matched his with a smile of their own as his deep, slightly accented lyrics filled her towers and then her mental box, Please, call me Titan, And it feels as if we are not strangers. I believe I have been lead to you though I do not know the reason why. Do you happen to know what this place is called, Micah?
Micah smiled as she shook her frame a moment and then she smiled with a chuckle as she responded to the stallion, "So you must have felt the pull too huh Titan. For some reason the Fates have brought us together. And I cannot say I know the reason either. As to where this is," Micah smiled and looked about the terrain extended about them, as she returned her gaze to Titan, "We are at this current moment standing in the Foothills of the Mozier Mountains in the lands of Fragmentation." Micah told him with another smile as she moved a little closer to the bay hunter.
He was intriguing and she was quite interested to see if he was another like she was. If he was a Healer too, then perhaps they were the first...or last...of their kind. If they were both Healers, then maybe the pair of them could...eventually...be the starters of a new line of Healers in the lands of Fragmentation. The Fates knew that the lands would eventually need more Healers, herself and Titan would not live forever, but they were not that old yet. Micah was only four, Titan, he probably wasn't much older than that himself. This had turned out to be a rather interesting first day of wandering and she had a feeling that eventually her and Titan might form a bond with one another. For now though, Micah was happy to have just come across another equine that seemed like he was like herself. She had not been expecting the encounter though and it was quite entertaining.

He finally felt... at home. Home. As far as he knew, he'd never had one, but now he was here, in this place, and he was sure that he was home. Surely Micah would explain the world around them. A kind vibe flowed from her and she was soft and kind and warm. Looking at her made his heart and chest feel warm, red eyes twinkling with silent laughter, a wide smile upon his face. His eyes kept roaming over her bodice not to degrade her or to sexualize her but because this was the first equine he could remember ever meeting. It was confusing, really, having no memories but at the same time not even feeling like he had anything to remember. To any other equine, it might have been frightening, but to Titan it was just confusing and a curiosity. Perhaps his memories had been wiped clean for a reason? He was unsure and thought it wise not to dwell on the thought too long. It would drive him insane.
"So you must have felt the pull too huh Titan. For some reason the Fates have brought us together. And I cannot say I know the reason either. As to where this is," So she had felt the tug as well, then? He nodded, agreeing to her statement, though remained silent as the shorter equine looked around before speaking up again with an explanation as to where they were. "We are at this current moment standing in the Foothills of the Mozier Mountains in the lands of Fragmentation." The name did not jar anything in his empty memories and he simply nodded again, looking away from the mare to glance up at the hidden mountain peak, eyes squinting against the sun and the bright white snow, before returning his gaze upon her.
"Have you a home here, then, Micah?" he questioned, head tilting as his short tail flicked back and forth once before falling still. "I was thinking of perhaps finding a place to call home. Claiming a land. The thought just occured to me, actually. It seems like the right thing to do.

Micah smiled as she watched the mahogany stag before her and then her fiery towers switched as the stallion spoke, Have you a home here, then, Micah? The question somewhat caught her off guard and she smiled then as she tilted her head and shook her skull, "I don't Titan. I simply wander about, bedding down here or there for the night, and if anyone needed me I went to them." She said softly as her fiery towers switched again, I was thinking of perhaps finding a place to call home. Claiming a land. The thought just occured to me, actually. It seems like the right thing to do.
A fresh smile fell to her muzzle as her sky blue voids lingered on the bay hunter. "That is a brilliant idea Titan. Since neither of us really have a home or anything like it. We could make our own herd." She told him with a soft giggle as her mind rolled the idea over and over. She had never owned a land before it could be a very fun experience for her. And for Titan too. They could find a land, and they could stay there in safety until someone needed their help, and then they could eventually have children running about in that once big empty space. A soft smile claimed her velvets and then a brief distant look raced over her facade as she pictured their future together and then she came back to the present.
Back, back to Titan's presence. She smiled as she switched her short banner against her flanks and then, she tilted her skull and stepped toward Titan before halting again. "So, shall we make our way into the territories and find a spot that catches our fancy?" Micah asked with a soft chuckle as she turned and looked back toward where she had come from and then she returned her gaze to Titan and smiled as her harks tilted toward him as she waited. A home, oh the thought and the new adventures and the new things that she had never had for herself. Shaking her frame, Micah watched Titan and waited to see what he'd have to say to that one.

"I don't Titan. I simply wander about, bedding down here or there for the night, and if anyone needed me I went to them." His eyes widened a bit in surprise and the draft blooded brute tilted his head, looking at her curiously with an amused look upon his facade, red eyes twinkling with laughter. "How long have you been here? And did you live somewhere else before here?" he asked, being very open about his curiousity. It was the best way to get answers, was it not? "I don't remember anything before today. I have no memories of anyone or anything. Not even myself." Instead of sounding frightened by not knowing a thing about himself, Titan merely sounded entertained, even chuckling after he spoke. He knew in his heart that he had nothing to fear about having no memories. In this moment, he had nothing to be afraid of.
"That is a brilliant idea Titan. Since neither of us really have a home or anything like it. We could make our own herd." They're own herd... that sounded wonderful. "You would be my queen, yes?" he asked, hoping that she would agree. It felt like the right thing to do, making her his queen. "So, shall we make our way into the territories and find a spot that catches our fancy?" Titan thought about it for a moment, head still cocked to the side, and he chuckled as she turned around as if to start walking and he walked up beside her, bumping her shoulder with his own. "Why not explore for a bit? I know nothing of this land and I cannot help if I do not know my way around." He smiled after he spoke, walking beside her, not knowing where he was going. There was no longer a tugging on his heart to lead him somewhere because he had already found where he needed to be. Micah was his home, his world, he knew it, he just knew it, and that didn't frighten him. He did not question fate.
ooc: i will get a claim up, then. (:

Her sky blue pools were bright as she saw the surprised then amused looks flash across the mahogany brute's facade and saw the laughter in his dark red eyes. Then her fiery towers switched as Titan spoke, How long have you been here? And did you live somewhere else before here? Micah chuckled softly as she looked to Titan again and her harks switched again, I don't remember anything before today. I have no memories of anyone or anything. Not even myself. For a moment, her own surprised shock traced over her facade before vanishing as she smiled and answered the hunter.
"I've only been in Fragmentation for about a year and a half. I used to live a distance outside the bounds but for some reason I felt it was time for me to move on and find my way in a world outside the familiar bounds of home. I can't even imagine not having any memories of anything but right now. We'll make you all kinds of new memories together Titan." Micah murmured as she started away from him with a smile as he spoke, You would be my queen, yes? Micah turned to peer at him and a bright light filled her voids as she giggled gently, "Of course I will Titan." Then she felt his shoulder bump against hers and she smiled as they started off together.
Her towers switched as Titan spoke again, Why not explore for a bit? I know nothing of this land and I cannot help if I do not know my way around. Micah laughed good naturedly as she swung her skull to gaze at the mahogany stag. "You have a point there Titan. Stick with me darlin' I'll getcha acquainted with the main sites of Frag." Micah told him with another chuckle as she let her large knives carry her back to old familiar wanderings. And this time, this time her wanderings would not be undertaken alone. No, this time, this time she had Titan with her. A gentle smile claimed her lips and lingered as her sky blue voids led them onward while still also swinging to Titan every so often.
