for the last 97 years, earth was believed to be uninhabitable thanks to the nuclear fall out from the last war. the lucky few who escaped the nuclear apocalypse, surviving on the ark, have waited patiently until time to return home again. they cohabited peacefully until the population started becoming uncontrollable. in order to preserve the few precious resources that they had, rules became much more strict. all criminals above the age of maturity were sentenced to death by floating while those below the age of maturity were locked in the prison station to await retrial at their 18th birthday. that was the protocol, until now.
life support on the ark is failing and in a mad attempt to save the masses, the 100 delinquent prisoners that were using up resources were sent to the ground in order to test earth and its ability to host life again. but the 100 are not alone. the grounders, survivors from earth, are none too happy with the sky people and their invasion of their land. without communication with the ark, no supplies, and the grounders against them, will the 100 be able to guide us home?
