Personality:
Malocchio is a different shade of dark even though his parents are Diavolo and Artemisia. He is rational, thoughtful, and does his best to be accommodating of others' needs -- to a point. He is observant and tries to be knowledgeable about how the world works as he grows older. He is not blind to corruption or the Big Brother syndrome that seems to happen when Royals exist in a society. He is relatively quiet and only raises his voice in conversation when absolutely necessary. He would rather be the quiet guy in the crowd that takes mental notes and uses them to his advantage later on instead of being obnoxious and boisterous in front of everyone. He is meticulous with his plans but he leaves enough room for them to be mostly flexible. He is young but not ignorant. He isn't arrogant nor does he see himself as superior to everyone around him. He's just another individual trying to pave his way through life in a manner that suits him. He is not frightened by the sight of blood or corpses, he enjoys them. He doesn't tolerate unnecessary mannerisms like excessive rudeness or unwarranted cruelty. He has to have a reason to start trouble for someone and he must have a very well-thought out plan in mind before he will allow himself to ruin someone's life. If he's going to go through the trouble to ruin their day, he might as well ruin their life too. Malocchio understands that a single kill would not make him feared or respected by anyone, most likely not even by his own mother. The dark alliance, for those that killed, it seemed to be a competition of who had the most homicides under their belts and that very factor alone drove up the body counts to astronomically stupid numbers. Killing without purpose other than to make yourself famous seemed pointless to Occhio. Waving your numbers around with just the simplicity of bragging rights was infantile. Murder only proved so many points too. Spewing verbal filth about whoever you killed, whatever land you overtook, and however many times you have done it was idiotically simplistic. When would the rest of the world catch up on the desire to be brilliantly successful beyond mediocrity? That was all they were --- mediocre.
History: Malocchio is the product of an event conducted by an evil deity. His father, Diavolo, had committed suicide months before Malo's conception. His mother, Artemisia, was still very much alive. With the help of a demon in Hades, Malocchio was conceived. He grew up under the mentoring of The Surgeon and his mother, Artemisia. His cousin was a former Lady of Hell and she gave him an ordained guardian to supervise his actions until he was five. For awhile, his guardian was his grandfather, Samhain when he was living in a place called Wild Equines. A former ally of his father's was a stag named Baron, king of Terrivel Beleza in Wild Equines. Baron had come to him and offered him Beleza's borders as a location of Malocchio's plans. Malo took the offer and promised to take care of Baron's former herd members as well as his own -- he promised to treat them as if they were the most precious things in the world. He did just that until he grew tired of the way Wild Equines was shaping up to be. At some point, the game changes and you have to decide if you want to continue playing their game or move on to a better one. Malo left his short-lived kingdom in the hands of a close friend and came here to continue his empire elsewhere. All he can do is hope that this place is better than the old one. His intentions are nothing but vile and wretched. Here, he is free to be a spitting image of his sire and mother combined into one. He is not bound by associations or cornered by the plethora of his family's enemies. Here, he has a fresh start and a chance to get ahead in the game before his enemies catch up to him and figure out where he has gone.
