This hasn't been discussed much for this site but beyond the afterlife, what canons do you all think Fragmentation should have, if any at all? How are they to be determined, what are their responsibilities, what can they do/cannot do, and how active should they be? All suggestions, opinions, and thoughts about canon characters and canon groups are welcome but please remember, this is only a game. Please be polite and mindful of how someone may be reading your response.

I like the idea of Royals except, like. Not Light, Neutral, Darks. Just a King and Queen. I think it could be very dramatic depending on who has the crown.

I'd have to agree with Gray on that one. Canons/Royals are great but we don't need all that many of them. . Beyond that though I'm not certain for the rest of the things.

Maybe, like, a secret society of some sort? Maybe those that consider themselves better than any of the other alliances? They could be unknown. Have a secret leader and stuff. Start from the bottom and work their way to the top and it would all be IC.

I do like the idea of having one pair of Royals! That would make it very interesting because you could have several possibilities of alliances being paired together and how that would be resolved, or not, in character. I also like the idea of the secret society group too, although I'd like to delve into that idea a bit more. What would they do? What would they be able to do?
If we had the single Royal pair, what would you all like for them to be responsible for doing or not doing? Do all the alliances answer to them? Can they turn down a claim for a land if they see it necessary?
Also, what do you all think of the idea of doing audition posts for the first original pair and then after that, doing audition threads for the rest? Of course that's being hopeful that we don't lose both Royals at the same time. If we do auditions, what should they include in their post that proves that their character is a good fit for the position?
Just brain storm for a bit (:

Secret Society could just go around making life hell for everyone. They don't do allies. They only work within the group. The only way to get them to help you is to join the society or give up a child to join the society. Everyone starts at the bottom and has to work their way through the ranks IC to promote activity. If you are kicked out of the group, you are never allowed back in no matter what. They could have a headquarters somewhere where the leader lives, along with other high ranks, but members of lower ranks live in normal herds and could literally be anyone. They were not allowed to tell anyone that they are a member of the society. They act as spies and must report back to the leaders once or twice a month at least. They do their best to push others toward supporting the society without giving away that they themselves are members. Their ultimate goal is to overthrow the Royals and take control of the lands. They are cruel, heartless, etc. because that's always fun.
The Royals should be diplomatic most of the time. They try to promote peace (of course, this might not always be done in the most peaceful of ways) and, yes, they can decline land claims if they think the character claiming is not a good fit. They can also take lands away from characters. All alliances answer to them. They make up the laws of the land and punishments for breaking those laws.
Auditions for the original pair would be lovely! Audition threads after that is great as well, though I think the first option for new Royals if we lose both at the same time would be the heir to the throne. Same goes for the secret society. The second in command should take over should the leader die or fall inactive or the member quits.

I like the idea of the Secret Society a lot and the single Royal pair, fleabittengray. I realize there's only three or four active members for this place right now but does everyone reading so far agree or like the idea of what's being said? If you have any questions, issues, suggestions, etc, this would be your time to say them haha. By the way, I'll be posting a master discussion post that will incorporate what's been said here along with some other things so we can keep track of everything in one place. If it gets too confusing, we can sort it out individually of course. But since there's been some changes and more changes are to come, I figured I'd just do a master post for everyone to read.
