As we are currently a new site, as we opened in November 2014, you will see that we have all kinds of unclaimed lands available!
- Each alliance has a grand total of 6 main lands. Each main land will have one king and/or queen to govern it and the 'sub-herds' in the same board.
- If you want to claim a mainland, you must post a 300 word claiming post. When a staff member approves of your claiming post they will ask for your land description and name. Be creative! No copycats allowed! The character you used to claim the land with will be the king or queen. A character must be at least two years old before they can claim a land. If at the time you are claiming a land and we have the Hierarchy set up, you must post a claim and wait for the King and/or Queen to respond to your claim. If they have not in three days time after you post, then a staff member may proceed with setting up your land.
- You will not be allowed to rule a mainland with two of your own characters as king and queen.
- You will only be allowed to claim two mainlands in total and only one per alliance. So if you already have a light main land, you cannot have a second one. Choose wisely! We want lots of opportunities for all! You will be allowed to have a total of four sub-herds in every alliance, however. This is so that everyone gets a solid chance at owning their own main land while not limiting them to only owning sub-lands.
- Sub-herds will come about from your mainland king or queen being active and meeting other equines. If one of those equines has their own family started or would like to start a family, you can offer them a sub-herd under your mainland. There will be a maximum of FOUR sub-herds allowed under each mainland.
- Each sub-herd can have its own name and description, with its own leader and his/her mate. But the sub-herd leaders are not above the main land leaders and that is who they ultimately answer to. It is expected that sub-herds remain just as active as the main land.
